Una de las primeras mañanas, a project by Julia Gorostidi.

Following the PRE-. group exhibition, we open now the first chapter of the InvitedOneDay 2012 programme with the project of Julia Gorostidi (Switzerland / Spain 1983).
Away from the practice of archive displayed in the projects "oneofthem" or "HowTo" Julia Gorostidi proposes a project and performative installation nature around the act of creation. "One of the first morning" is based of a book from the 80' that collects cosmogonies from various sources in the form of narrative disclosure: thanks to a small-scale staging of the interrelationships and forms of language resources present in these mythologies, Julia Gorostidi moves the original metanarrative to the exhibition's room and the creative process. The artist offers to the public a unique opening in which the project will take shape through a series of actions related to the constituent elements of the installation in progress.
With the collaboration of Paul Gorostidi.

PRE-. is a collective exhibition conceived as a prelude to solo projects that each artist will develop throughout 2012 at homesession. The format of the exhibition facilitates a dialogue between projects, while simultaneously broadening perspectives and creating autonomous spaces.
